There's a reason telegram mini apps mostly suck, although telegram is a protocol and has hundreds of millions of daily active human users it's not a credibly neutral protocol, and is controlled by a for profit company with the same name there's a lesson in there

The problem with current content coins is that coin price typically tracks attention, and even if you believe in something early, and it gains 10x attention, in order to benefit, you need to actively watch price and sell, which is an active and very financial activity, not suited to the average consumer. Perhaps the trading of content coins is only done by less than 1% of users, that do it actively - similar to the users that moderate reddit or wikipedia. I think an alternative is also possible: new content coin mechanisms. For example, where you can only buy, and you don't need to sell to make money; By buying, you're just making a bet that attention will outperform the expectation. It turns curation into a market by rewarding early conviction on what people will like. This is also why I agree with @jessepollak that pump fun is not net bad - I think it accelerates ecosystem token mechanism innovation that will produce categories of new products and protocols

kinda wild that virtually no farcaster miniapps have any sort of farcaster conversation inside them. They mostly only use the follow graph

collecting coins would be a better experience if 1) coins had profile pics, like nfts, (natively) 2) if one didn't need to sell to make money
